We are happy to share that Pinecrest Supports and Services Center was the recipient of a generous donation of musical instruments from Huckleberry Brewery. Huckleberry Brewery has been open for 7 years in Alexandria and every Labor Day, owners Jacob and Brittany Willson, raise money for instruments for local schools in honor of Ben Rougeau, a friend who passed away due to cancer about 9 years ago. Mr. James Ellington applied for Pinecrest Supports and Services Center to be the beneficiary of the instruments this year due to the newly created music program at PSSC. Luckily, Huckleberry Brewery chose PSSC this year as the recipient of $3,000 worth of instruments.

The pictures included show Mr. Ellington, our music teacher, Ms. Anna, and our RC, Mrs. Shawnee Parker as well as the instruments we received.

Thank you to Huckleberry Brewery for the generous donation. It is greatly appreciated.
